Experience Strategy, Brand Storytelling, Spatial Design & Execution
The Jaquar Technology Experience Center was envisioned as a place where the brand could be experienced, not simply presented. As Jaquar evolved from a trusted bathware brand into a premium, design-led and technology-driven lifestyle brand, the centre was created to bring its innovation, craftsmanship, and technological capability to life. The experience transforms Jaquar’s extensive product ecosystem into an immersive journey designed to inspire customers, architects, designers, dealers, and partners.
With a portfolio of over 5,000 products across faucets, sanitaryware, and wellness solutions, Jaquar needed to move beyond conventional product displays and catalogues. The challenge was to make the depth of its offering meaningful and memorable while building both emotional aspirations and technical confidence. The experience also needed to reinforce Jaquar’s evolution from a function-led bathware brand to a premium, globally relevant lifestyle brand.
Lokusdesign transformed the centre into an immersive journey through heritage, innovation, craftsmanship, technology, and sustainability. Dedicated experience zones explore Jaquar’s evolution, R&D, green initiatives, manufacturing journey, and its diverse bathware and wellness offerings. Dynamic media, fluid spatial forms, tactile installations, interactive interfaces, and live water demonstrations bring the brand’s technology and product experience to life.
The result is an experience that turns products into possibilities and technology into inspiration. By allowing visitors to see, explore, interact, and experience Jaquar’s capabilities firsthand, the centre builds stronger engagement and confidence among key influencers and customers. More than a showroom, it becomes a strategic brand asset that expresses Jaquar’s ambition to lead through innovation, design, and experience.
Jaquar has built substantial capabilities across design, technology and manufacturing, with a portfolio of more than 5,000 products across faucets, sanitaryware and wellness solutions. Its products were backed by world-class design, advanced manufacturing, and quality performance that outperformed competition in testing.
Yet the market perception had not caught up with the business reality.
The visible brief was to create a Technology Experience Centre.
The hidden business brief was far more commercial:
How could Jaquar change its position in the customer’s mind – from a second option to a first-choice premium brand, and shift the conversation from price to value?
Despite its capabilities, three persistent barriers were limiting the business:
Jaquar was often considered a second option against European and American brands, particularly in premium specifications. Customer conversations frequently started with price negotiation, rather than product capability, design, technology or performance, even when Jaquar offered superior products. Key Opinion Leaders – architects, designers, and influencers – did not consistently recommend Jaquar, reinforcing the perception that international brands were the aspirational benchmark.
This created a commercial disconnect:
Superior Product → Weak Perceived Differentiation → Price-led Conversation → Lower Recommendation → Lost Premium Opportunity
The experience centre therefore had to do more than showcase 5,000+ products. It had to change the evidence on which customers and influencers formed their opinions.
Lokusdesign reframed the experience centre from a product showcase into a platform that changes perception and drives decisions. Instead of asking visitors to believe in Jaquar’s claims, we designed the experience so they could see, understand, interact with and experience the proof.
The journey was built around five dimensions:
HERITAGE → INNOVATION → CRAFTSMANSHIP → TECHNOLOGY → SUSTAINABILITY
We transformed Jaquar’s capabilities into a sequence of tangible experiences, covering its evolution, R&D, manufacturing, green initiatives, product technologies, and extensive bathware and wellness ecosystem.
Dynamic media, fluid spatial forms, tactile installations, interactive interfaces and live water demonstrations made technology and performance tangible. Most importantly, the centre was designed for the people who influence the purchase decision:
Architects → Designers → Developers → Dealers → Customers → Partners
Each could engage with Jaquar at different levels, from design aspirations and material quality to engineering, technology, manufacturing capability, and performance.
This shifted the conversation:
From Product → To Experience
From Specification → To Demonstration
From Price → To Value
From Indian Alternative → To Global Competitor
From Consideration → To Recommendation
The business economics were embedded in the experience.
CAC ↓
Demonstration replaced repeated explanation → stronger understanding and confidence → more efficient premium customer engagement.
CapEx ↑ in capability, but greater return on investment
The centre consolidated Jaquar’s technology, manufacturing, R&D and product capabilities into one high-impact platform rather than communicating them repeatedly through fragmented sales tools.
OpEx ↓
A structured experience journey and reusable content system created a consistent platform for customer engagement, sales conversations, influencer interactions and partner engagement.
Scale ↑
The experience architecture could accommodate Jaquar’s expanding product, technology and innovation story without rebuilding the proposition from scratch.
Lokusdesign turned the Jaquar Technology Experience Center into a strategic commercial asset designed to change perception before price enters the conversation.
Capability → Proof → Experience → Confidence → Recommendation → Premium Value
The centre gave Jaquar a powerful physical platform to demonstrate what the business already possessed – but the market did not always perceive:
World-class design.
Advanced technology.
Manufacturing capability.
Quality performance.
Innovation.
Lokusdesign used experience design to close the gap between Jaquar’s actual capability and perceived value, helping move the conversation from “How much?” to “Why Jaquar?”
